# Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

How invoice payments, cancellations, and refunds work for agreed client engagements.

## What this page covers

Payments made through this site are payments toward work already agreed with ShanVic. The proposal, statement of work, invoice, or other engagement document sets the commercial terms for that work.

## Payment terms

The applicable documents state the amount, currency, due date, deposits, milestones, expenses, and any project-specific payment terms. If an engagement agreement says something different from this page, the engagement agreement controls.

## Cancellation

If you need to cancel or pause work, contact [contact@shanvic.com](mailto:contact@shanvic.com) as soon as possible. We will stop future work when reasonably practical, taking account of work already completed and commitments already made for the engagement.

## Refunds

Refunds depend on the engagement agreement, work already performed, earned fees, and agreed third-party costs that cannot be recovered. Unless the agreement says otherwise, prepaid amounts for work that has not been performed may be refundable after those amounts are deducted.

## Mandatory rights and payment problems

Nothing on this page removes a cancellation, refund, chargeback, or other right that the law does not allow us to waive. If you think an invoice or payment is wrong, email [contact@shanvic.com](mailto:contact@shanvic.com) with the invoice number and a short explanation so we can review it.
